  1. INTRODUCTION RealAcc is probably a new brand or division from Eachine and indirectly from Banggood. Maybe like XK is for WLtoys, RealAcc will represent the deluxe products division. Here with the RealAcc GX210, a have a pure X-design acro FPV machine with BLheli_S multishot compatible 20A ESC, a SPF3 board and strong 2205 motors…. All ingredients for a compact 220mm beast machine. The FPV part is done with a 700TVL camera & 40CH 200mW VTX. Let’s have a closer look to this bundle. Notice this product is also proposed with a Naze32 or CC3D boards. BOX CONTENT + 1 x RealAcc GX210 (with a 3S 1500mAh LiPo with XT60 connector) + 1 x Transmitter (using 4xAAA batteries not included) + 1 x Charger + 4 x Spare props (2 CW, 2 CCW) + 1 x Carbon prop wrench + 1 x Battery carbon protection plate + 2 x Pieces of foam + 1 x Bind plug + 1 x 5.8G cloverleaf antenna OVERVIEW An 210mm X-design with a central double floors carbon elements … Here standoffs between the two floors are 35mm long largely enough to jail PDB, FC and receiver inside the protected room. The top floor can welcome an action cam which be tilted of 35-40 degrees approximatively. All elements are 3K carbon based. The lower main plate welcome also the 3mm arms. It means if you break one arm, you have to replace all the lower element. -FRONT VIEW -SIDE VIEW The left side welcomes the microUSB port. It means than the SPF3 board is flipped of 90 degrees (don’t forget this fact if you flash a new firmware). All UART connectors are free… It’s clear, no OSD are connected. We can guess the PDB with the metallic casing covering/cooling the FET associated with voltage regulator. a +5V and +12V are provided on each side respectively. I advise to conver wires and pads with liquid electrical tape to avoid any short or electrical shock accident. The default OS is CleanFLight 1.12. Be aware for beginners, only the acro mode is preset as flight modes…. It’s strongly advise to set channel 5 with the Switch C for the radio to have the possibility to have 3 différents flight modes. Here are my personal Betaflight (3.0.1) settings Be aware, the max uptilt angle of the FPV camera is partially limited by the rear camera connector. You can increase by push front a bit with hand the FPV camera…. but be aware the camera connector, especially wires connected to it can be damaged versus time by multiple tilting. By puching the camera, the max tilt angle can reach around 40 degrees so more adapted for agressive FPV flights. Notice small O-rings are installed between standoff and screws to isolate (a little bit) the FC from vibrations. A nice positive point. -REAR VIEW The receiver is connected to the FC via old-school PWM cables…. Why not a SBUS/iBUS FlySky compatible received instead ? More the 6th channel is not wired. The free servo plug completly on the left is the bind one to attach the bind plug. -UPPER VIEW Individual 20A BLheli_S compatible ESC are zip-tied on each arms. They can be updated super easily via BLhelisuite via the Cleanflight passthrough mode. They are flashed out of the box with the 16.2 version. With the Cloverleaf attached -BOTTOM VIEW The carbon plate must be installed to protect the lower part of the battery. The two pieces of foam taped to protec the upper battery side from screws Non-programmable LEDs are simply taped on the lower arm section Strong blue lights for front and red for rear At each arm extremity, a 1.5cm piece of foam is installed as landing gear. In practice since the battery height is greater, they are not useful for landing. -WEIGHT 428.5g total weight… versus 472g for example for the Eachine Wizard X220… close to 50g lighter…. Motors One good positive point. Installed motors are 2205 type announced to be 2300kV from RaceStar (I guess a Eachine division for parts). They are obviously stronger than classic 2204 motors usually installed on other 200-220mm machines In practice, extra power will be added Shaft are 5mm of diameter Two red CW (for CCW motors) and two black CCW (for CW motors) nuts are given. Props are none-BN 5045 model If you want extra power, you can advantageously replace them by tri-blades BN 5040 for example… LiPo A super classic 1500mAh 3S LiPo… but only 25C for discharge rate. We could expect directly a 4S LiPo…. for this beast. This battery is exactly the same than Eachine model Camera module A 700TVL CMOS camera intalled on titable camera mount. A rear button can select either NTSC or PAL format (default is PAL) Raw video footage Unfortunatly, some little Jello are here …. the camera mount need to be modded a bit (jailing the FPV cam with foam for example) to remove extra vibrations. Anyway, lights transition handling is correct for a CMOS camera (a good WDR) and colors vivid. FPV transmitter A 200mW attached bottom the upper plate. A single button to select the Vfreq if pressed shortly or the frequency band if long pressed. Two small red lights indicate the current band and frequency selected. A 90 degrees connector is directly soldered on the VTX Transmitter A classic Flysky FS-i6 radio supporting he AFHDS-2A protocol. Comes with three 2-way and one 3-way switches. Stupidely, Channels 5 & 6 are assigned to the pots. Set them to the switch C & B respectively (see unboxing’s video) The Transmitte failsafe configuration is not done out of the box at least for the throttle channel (CH3). For beginners, I advise to use Switch A for D/R at least for CH1 & CH2. FIRST USAGE First of all, the first impression that comes immediatly in mind is “whaoohh so stable machine in acro” no occilllations, bounceback pheonomenas…. a real pleasure. Even in 3S this machine is super strong thanks to 2205 motors and 50g minor grams. The FPV offers a good 120degees of FOV.. not to large, not too narrow IMHO. At take off, at low RPM… some little jello can be noticed… Mostly mid-flight and in acro flight mode, there are almost none noticable … Except after my “hard” landing … where a ton of jello appeared despite no damged props, motors have been noticed. The FPV camera mount is definitively the center of some oscillations. Probably adding some foam elements could help. Flips and rolls are so easy to practice…. like in simulators. Punch out in 3S are great. In 4S with tri-blades prop configuration, I can’t imagine how beasty will be this machine. No problem to carry an extra runcamHD/möbius cam. CONCLUSIONS Probably one of the best “cheap” RTF acro machine available in the market. Clearly advanced pilots oriented, the GX210 is a concentration of power. All main elements are top level at least for ESC, FC and motors. We can probably regret the absence of a 4S battery directly, a CCD FPV camera and for sure at least a builtin buzzer. Yes the GX210 is even more powerful than the Eachine Wizard X220 UNBOXING & ANALYSIS PROS + Strong and super smooth 20A BHeli_S ESC + Strong 2205 motors + SPRacing F3 board + 4S compatible + Close 50g lighter than other 220mm competitors + X design more adapted for full acro performances CONS – No builtin buzzer – PWM receiver. 6th channel not wired (AUX2) – Presence of Jello in FPV signal – Max Uptilt angle (partially) limited by the rear camera connector – No OSD – No 4S battery included directly RCgroups review thread: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2763896 This quadcopter have been courtesy provided by Banggood in order to make a fair and not biased review. 8. INTRODUCTION After the popular JJRC X1, probably the first cheap FPV racer introduced in the market (now can be found under 100USD), Here is the FPV variation, i.e., the JJRC X1G. Almost all the same incredients for the flying machine are the same: powerfull 1806 brushless motor, a relatively lightweight machine, 2S system… but now they added a 600TVL-120 degrees FPV camera coupled with a 350mW VTX. For the transmitter part, a 4.3″ FPV screen with a builtin DVR is also added. Let’s discover this new bundle. BOX CONTENT + 1 x JJRC X1G (with a 2S 1300mAh LiPo with JST connector) + 1 x Transmitter (using 4xAA batteries not included) + 1 x Charger + 4 x Spare props (2 CW, 2 CCW) + 4 x Prop gards + 2 x Landing gear + 1 x 4.3″ FPV monitor + 1 x FPV monitor mount + 1 x FPV camera + 1 x 5.8G VTX + cable + 1 x Linear antenna + 1 x Screwdriver + 1 x Instruction manual (English/Chinese) OVERVIEW Strictly indentical machine, with a full plastic body painted with a carbon style paint. With this full plastic solution, as for the former model, don’t expect miracle if you crash your machine at very high speed. Clearly less robust than the XK X251 carbon elements. Installed props are still some 6040 type. -FRONT VIEW After clipsing the two latteral feet, the X1G offers the same ground clearance than the former of X1: 6cm. Be sure to well push the landing gear to not loose one mid-flight. and with the FPV rig installed 2cm left before touching the ground. -SIDE VIEW One could dream to see a microUSB port for this novel edition…. unfortunatly it’s not. It means that electronic is still the same… a closed system without possibility to ajust any settings. -REAR VIEW The battery bay welcomes the JST connector for the battery. No microUSB somewhere. We can guess the NFET of the ESC located on the bottom side of the 4-in-1 internal board When the battery is inserted, all the room is occupied -UPPER VIEW -BOTTOM VIEW The bottom side have been modified to welcome both the VTX and the FPV camera mounts. Still one unique camera port. This port will be used to power both the VTX and the camera More, some transparent caps were added to increase the light diffusion effect Brushless motors are attached via these 4 screws -WEIGHT A Final total weight with all the FPV rig installed of 313.6g so versus the 270.1g without it’s an extra 43.5g, a little bit less than 25% of extra weight…. It’s a lot Motors Same 1806 2280 brushless motors LiPo The same 2S LiPo of the original model, a 2S 1300mAh model with JST connector. No discharge mentioned for this model. IMHO, no really more larger model can inserted into the battery bay. A 64mmx30mmx16mm Camera module A 600TVL FPV camera with a 120 degrees FOV lens so compatible perfectly with FPV racing application. The signal is broadcasted in NTSC format. No possibility to ajust any setting or change to PAL format. Good news, you can ajust the up/down tilt angle manually. Video transmitter A 350mW 32CH VTX must be clipsed into the two hooks located bottom the X1G. Be aware to not force when you clip them to not break the pastic elements. To desinstall the VTX, also push rear the VTX gently but with a nominal force to disengage the hooks. The VTX comes with SMA connector. I advice to install a short CL antenna like (W-type SMA): http://www.banggood.com/FPV-5_8GHz-Circular-Polarized-VTX-Antenna-RHCP-Short-p-961732.html One unique button. Short press to cycle between the 8 Vfrequencies inside the current band. A long press to select the Band. The race band is not supported. The connexions with the FPV camera and camera port Disassembling Super easy to open the machine: 4*3+2=14 screws to remove The same incredients are here. A XN297 nRF24L01 RF chip is here. The 6axis stabilization job is done by a invensense MPU6050 Transmitter The same radio chassis than the former X1 model. A basic one without LCD display.. so no way to programme new settings with dislike the XK X251. The throttle trim buttons are used to set the idle speed. You can even stop motors by this way. The front right vertical trim buttons are used to trigger potentially a external camera like the syma X5 FPV kit. For the X1G these two buttons are useless since the FPV camera don’t include a buitin HD recorder. To arm the machine now, you simply to push the left stick in lower right position during 3s. Much more easy than former arming sequence. To desarm hold more than 3s in lower left position. To calibrate gyros & accelero, push both stick in lower right position until LEDs start to flash. The left shoulder button cycles between the three speed mode. The right one order a 360 flips. Two beeps are emitted than you have to indicate with the right stick the direction of the 360 flip. Expect around 200m of control range. You can increase a bit with a Devo radio compatible DeviationTX modded with a nRF24L01 RFchip. I observed some weird controls of the yaw direction with my Devo 7E. Maybe they changed something in the current radio protocol. I will try to capture SPI data to eventually update the current protocol with this envetually new protocol variation. FPV monitor A basic 4.3″ FPV monitor with a buitin 5.8G antenna buit including a builtin DVR. Five panel buttons are present. To power the monitor, you have to hold pressed more than 3s the power button. The same to power off. The menu button enters/exit to/from the meny. The “<" cycle between the camera & photo moto. The ">” incremente the current Vfreq among the 8 when pressed shortly. You incremente the race band when pressed longer. The “Enter” button start/stop video/photo recording. In the menu, just basic brightness settings are available. You can replay recorded videos or photos in corresponding modes. The left side welcomes a microSD slot and a microUSB port. No microSD card is given in the bundle. An standalone 400mAh 1S LiPo battery with microLOSI connector feed the FPV monitor. With this battery you have 20-25min of autonomy. Recorded videos are unfortunatly in Interleaved VGA format at 20fps only….. 20 fps is just already incompatible with FPV racing applications… and a problem never comes alone, you have also a latency > 300ms… Weird… The problem comes from the OSD informations processing added. The VCU must be really creap to not be able to record more than 20fps and to introduce such lag.. Good news, with a real FPV monitor, the frame rate is perfect and the latency much smaller… The FPV monitor is definitively the weakest element of the X1G packaging. At least, you have the whitesnow when the signal is gone but in practice when the signal starts to be weak, some black screen transitions can appear. FIRST USAGE With the 44 extra grams, it was obvious, the X1G is less nimble, agile but nothing yet catastrophic. Don’t worry in expert mode, you will still find its sporty attitude. It’s a still a fast machine. WIth the FPV rig attached, the punch out are less impressive of course.. With the super laggy FPV monitor, only the first/beginner speed mode shoud be used…. What’a pity to have a racer completly limited by this element. Let’s talk about the most annoying thing…. the yaw behaviour. In some situation (fast descent or a sequence of fast alternating yawing turns), sometime the yaw command is not taken into account. You need to return to the center and reapply the command to be this time executed… Can be potentially dangerous of course. Luckely, it happened rarely but happens….. and it’s already too much. CONCLUSIONS If 80 USD extra dollars for a complete FPV solution to the former JJRC X1 would have been still acceptable, it’s not really the case here since the FPV monitor despite including a DVR, is clearly incompatible with FPV racing mode. The FPV camera is not bad as well as the VTX but 44g extra grams is too much. With a DIY solutions, you can probably divide by two the extra weight. It’s also a pity, they didn’t fully solved the yaw problem. Ok the yaw lag seems to be gone, but another yaw problem have been added instead … The JJRC X1G lost the occasion to win the battle versus the XK X251. By the way, I won’t be surprized to be a FPV version of the XK X251 in addition of the official FPV Kit. In conclusion, I advise more to pick up the XK X251 instead with FPV kit to be modded with a wider FOV lens. UNBOXING & QUICK ANALYSIS PROS + Full RTF FPV brushless packaging + Still sporty in expert mode despite the 25% extra weight + Easier Arming/Disarming sequence + 0.01Lux FPV camera with 120 degrees + Same X1 radio protocol + 10min of flight time + Both control & FPV range around 200m CONS – Yaw turn command can be not executed – Still full plastic body structure – Any radio settings can be ajusted – 20fps displayed by the FPV monitor – ~300ms of latency for the FPV monitor – Interleaved FPV recording – Heavy FPV kit (44g) – Slow yaw rate in beginner mode – Poor instruction manual RCgroups thread: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2761376 This quadcopter have been courtesy provided by Banggood in order to make a fair and not biased review. I would like to thank them for this attitude. 23. KaiDeng K80 Pantonma with altitude hold and HD camera After the popular K70, KaiDeng announced another interesting model, the K80 Pantonma. This new model will be available in two variants respectively in two colors (gold and blue). The main difference between the “Pro” and the “Basic” versions of the Kai Deng K80 Pantonma is the Anti-collision induction module. Both variants of the KD K80 come with the same game-style remote controller. The transmitter is extendable and allows to mount your smartphone. The WiFi FPV camera allows to capture still photos with resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels and to record Full HD videos. In my opinion, the altitude hold is one of the greatest functionality of this new Kai Deng K80 drone. This feature allows the aircraft to keep its flight height at the same level. Thanks to the innovative design the motors are easily replaceable, which is really great taking into consideration that brushed motors last only about 10-20 flights. Powered by a 700 mAh Li-Po battery, the advertised flight time of the KD K80 is about 7 minutes. Kai Deng K80 Pantonma features and specs Anti-collision induction; Altitude hold (auto hover); Headless flight mode; One key to return home; Easy to replace motors; 12 m / s max flight speed; 2592 x 1944 photo resolution; 1920 x 1080p video resolution; WiFi real-time image transmission (FPV); SKY Warrior smartphone APP (iOS and Android); About 100 meters control range in open field; Up to 7 minutes of flight autonomy; Available in two colors (gold and blue). Included with the Kai Deng K80 Transmitter with built-in phone holder and 200 mAh Li-Po battery; 5MP WiFi FPV camera for aerial videos; 700 mAh flight battery; 1 USB battery charger; Anti-collision induction module; 1 set of propeller protectors; Screwdriver; KD K80 user manual.
