I am a N00B and bought a drone

to play but it is a cheepie Quadrone Tumbler. Thought I would learn to fly them before I spent a ton o' money on something I would pile into the ground.

Unfortunately I cannot get the sucker trimmed out and pretty much all it does is flip over on it's top.

One rotor does not turn unless it is at full throttle so I made sure FLIP mode was not set and tried in vain to reset the drone to factory settings.

I can fly Hughey's and Cobra's so I would assume I could learn drones quickly. Apparently I can't so any help would be appreciated.

N/M ... I think it is a mfg defect and I have returned the unit for another.  I'll post back if that did the trick and it wasn't me that FUBAR'd it.

Welcome to the site and thanks for posting! These mini drones are supposed to be ready to fly so maybe it is a defect if you can't get it to trim out. I couldn't resist and bought a Protocol - Neo-Drone Mini RC Drone from best buy because it was $20 on a deal of the day, it's now $40. I just picked it up from the store and its still in my car. Can't go wrong for $20!

Did you get a replacement and did it fly better?

I'm looking at micro quads at the minute and tbh they seem to actually be around the same proce as a lot of the toy type drones.

Have you looked at the Eachine e010c which costs around £30 and is pretty cool.
