Between a plane and and a multirotor, Vtol (Vertical Take-Off Landing) machine starts to become popular especially thanks to new flight controllers managing now correctly transition between vertical to horizontal positions.

This new XK model (deluxe devision of WLtoys) includes its 3D6G flight controller with three specific flight mode: one more for indoors application where the machine is vertical and is controller more like a quadcopter, the second more for outdoors and the machine is more similar to a plane and the last one so-called “stunt mode”.

The machine is equiped of two brushless motors and is powered by a 2S LiPo. As for most XK models, the associated radio protocol is compatible with the Futaba S-FHSS (Jumper compatible too). I would like to test such kind of machine…I never flew one… Can be interesting.
