As usual if and only if the video stabilization is as efficient as for the Mavic, the GDU O2 got/introduces also a lot of features:
-Visual positionning
-Gesture recognition
-Obstacle avoidance
-Foldable and ultra transportable
-Target tracking
-Orbit, selfie, rocket flight modes
-Time laps functionalities

All advanced modes are done via the powerfull snapdragran MCU. Associated with the 3-axis gimbal, a 4K camera shooting at 25fps(PAL) or 30fps (NTSC). The 1080p is up to 60fps. More a small controlable electronic zoom can be done via the remote. Flight time are about 20min without the prop guard and 15 with… The more important…. the total weight is 708g !!! so no future problem of registration at least for EU contries. This is the first model introduced where the 720p FPV feedback is “limited” to 1km. The GDU O2 plus will have 7km!!!! Probably the camera also will be improved. Be aware, the connexion with the smartphone is done via WiFI 5.8G… Seems to not have USB tethering Grrrrr so be aware about some Android incompatibilities. I really do hope, in the worst case, it’s possible to change the 5.8G Channels of the radio. Sold 800 USD, so clearly 30% more cheaper than a Mavic….
